INFORMATION Band Flowriders is a mixture of electronics and acoustic soul and jazz. The band features Holland's hottest musicians, people who have always been crossing musical borders Live The band performed at clubs and festivals like the North Sea Jazz Festival. They were support act for Isaac Hayes, Lamb, Nils Petter Molvaer and Bugge Wesseltoft. People Flowriders got a top groovin rhythm section with players going back together many years. Gregory Pataca (drums), Cord Heineking (bass), Richard Hallebeek (guitar) and Vincent Helbers (keys) Jeffrey Patty ( Percussion) have played with the likes of Tasha’s World,Sandra St. Victor, Frank Gambale,Randy Brecker, Saskia Laroo, Herman Brood Then there is vocal power from Farida Merville, Hartog Eysman and Johannes Papilaja, who shared the stage with a.o.Quazar, Eddie de Clerq, Sandra St.Victor, Nueva Manteca, Caecilie Norby and Marlena Shaw. On top of this comes the horns section, with Matthias Bergmann (trumpet) and Han Litz (flute), Pablo de Haas ( saxes) Joachim Staudt ( saxes ) These guys performed with artists like Dianne Reeves, New York Voices, Charlie Mariano, Till Broenner, Michiel Borstlap, Jazzanova and Masters At Work. History Flowriders started with Hartog Eysman and Vincent Helbers. Both played in blues, funk and rock bands, before they met at conservatory and made acoustic jazz albums with their individual projects Hartog & Martini and J Moods. The first Flowriders tracks were made on an old PC only, and got immediate response from Jazzanova DJ’s Alex and Juergen. In 2001 they played their first live show opening for Lamb at the Paradiso with just a four-piece band.
